About David :

David Jacob Carver is a fun - loving, passionate, and highly caffeinated singer, actor, and dancer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and New York City. 

David was born and raised in  Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  David has had a huge passion for the performing arts since he was just 5 years old, performing at any chance he could get.  At a very young age, David spent much of his time playing dress up in his sister’s Disney princess gowns, putting on shows for his family, and singing songs from musical movies such as The Sound of Music, Singing in the Rain, and Grease.  David's main interest and goal is to understand, empathize with, and bring light to stories that connect all individuals with shared experience. I truly am so thankful to connect with all different kinds of humans through the passion and love I have for my art! I am an optimistic, hard-working, caring human who loves to make people feel something when I perform, and I feel the most alive and at home when I'm on any stage. 

David is a BFA Musical Theatre major at Seton Hill University, and will be graduating in Spring 2025!  This summer, David will be making his professional stage debut  as Wiesel / Male Adult Ensemble in Newsies at Pickleville Playhouse in Garden, City Utah. The show runs June 18th - August 16th, 2024!

 David can light up a rehearsal room and stage, with not only positivity and kindness, but also with determination, resilience, and love. David can adapt quick and efficiently, and is not afraid to take risks outside his comfort zone.

When David isn't performing, you can find him exploring new coffee shops to find the best iced coffee, spending time out in the sun, watching way too many early 2000's rom coms, and jamming out to sammy rae & the friends, lawrence, and stephen day!
