Hello, it's so nice to meet you!
David Jacob Carver is a fun - loving singer, dancer, and actor originally from the quaint small town of Irwin just right outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. David started performing at the ripe age of 7, and has always had the biggest passion for the performing arts, dressing up and putting on shows for his family any chance he could get as a child. David's main goal is to bring light and love to stories that connect and bring individuals together, and there is nothing he loves more than a good dad joke, and making people laugh and feel connected through the art of storytelling.
When I'm not performing I find the most joy in exploring new coffee shops, spending time out in the sun, watching way too many early 2000's rom coms, and making content on TikTok @davidjacobcarver!
What have I been up to?
This past summer David had the pleasure of performing as Simeon / Pharaoh in "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at Pickleville Playhouse! The show ran June 17th - August 15th, 2025 with a total of 45 shows.
Newsies - Pickleville Playhouse
David had the absolute privilege of being apart of the cast of Disney’s “Newsies” at Pickleville Playhouse summer of 2024 in Garden City, Utah. The show ran a total of 42 performances June 18th - August 16th, 2024.

54 Sings : "In Trousers"
David was so grateful to have been apart of 54 Sings "In Trousers" March 12th, 2024 at Feinstein's / 54 Below in New York City! In an unforgettable celebration of the first of William Finn’s Marvin trilogy musicals, experience the precursor to the musical hit Falsettos during a rare NYC concert revival! Featuring an all-star cast, this concert was produced and directed by Dara Weinstein and Grace Kelly Kretzmer.

David had the pleasure of performing in his 2nd Polyphony Festival Of New And Emerging Musicals at the University Of The Arts in April of 2023.
David was featured in the "Untitled Cherry Orchard Musical" as Gaev, written by Emily Gardner Xu Hall and directed by Priyanka Shetty.
